The Twilight Zone

Okay, I know this is sort of a pointless post. But something interesting happened today down in the Cavern I felt that i had to post somewhere, so, all you critics out there, you might as well get over it.

I was down in the Cavern today, and in Uru Obsession's Neighborhood, and there was an arseload of people there. Like twelve or so, and I was weirding out because I didn't see a single one of them, like out of an old Twilight Zone episode. I could hear them, but they sure weren't there. I mean, I apparently walked right through DaytonaKit at one point up by the podium in the Community Room.
And Jacuru and her both sent me some pictures to which I showed them one of my own:

My KI Image

DaytonaKit's KI Image

They are, annoyingly, a bit small, but if I make them any bigger, just a bit, they get ridiculously fuzzy on Blogger. But, if you can't tell, the first one is me in my Indiana Claybourne get-up all alone. The second one, taken just moments after I sent the first picture to her, is from DaytonaKit's KI. I'm in the same spot, just turned around a bit, you should be able to spot me if you really look.
It's probably some sort of Neighborhood Instancing malfunction, two people linking to the same Age at once, who knows. But I thought it was pretty nifty. Adam_Reith, whitesparrow, and Fah linked in at their respective times after me, and I could see them, and they could see everybody else, which poses more questions.

But, as it is, I thought it was pretty cool.

In other news, it's also the anniversary of the current opening of the Cavern. Today, it's been exactly one year since it was reopened. But, ofcourse, the DRc were still around then. It's kind of hard to believe actually, and I still don't have all of the Calendar Sparks..

Under the Christmas Tree

Well, I decided to try out Tweek's nifty KI Serial Code, and it seems to have turned out pretty good as far as I can see, though this is something of a test post, it's not why I'm posting.

Someone seems to have decorated Sharper's office in the City, kind of curious as to who, considering the DRC have all up and left, whether or not they're coming back. The menorah, Christmas trees, and such. We've all resorted to Sardines, Survivor etc. just to survive the boredom, and I see a lot of people vanishing. Honestly, I'm pretty impartial either way, I was gone for a couple weeks nerding out too, so.
Tonight our little Christmas thing-a-majig's started up, starting with Under the Roots Christmas tonight, with Ktahdn playing Christmas tunes till the sun comes up (Or as close as it gets, anyway.). Not to mention scaring certain someones about not having Little Drummer Boy in the playlist, ahem.

Anyway, it's shaping up to look like a good Christmas this year, both above and below the surface, even though my roomates are going to round most of the Christmas money up for a second computer, I'm still setting my eyes on finally getting a bloody iPod..

A Lesson in Proper Bahro Names

Well, this is mostly an interesting-tidbit-that-I-want-to-post sort of post, but eh, why not inform the masses?

Well, basically, a few days ago, K'laamas sent an e-mail to RAWA about the names of the Bad Bahro, or if Yeesha had names for the different sides, or something similar. But the point is, recently, he responded back. Apparently, it was what Dr. Watson had heard Yeesha call them while he was away from the Cavern.
Nekisahl are apparently what the general Bahronoir (As they were formerly called!) are called, which means, basically "bent, twisted, or distorted." Which makes it into the Bahro Nekisahl.

And RAWA also sent "Nekisahloth" which, it seems, is apparently the name for the leader of the Nekisahl who Esher took his Bahro skin from the shoulder of. And it basically means "one who is bent, twisted, or distorted." WHich is creepy yet neat.

Plus, since this is somewhat more "serious" than what I generally do, Donahoo is back in the Cavern with the D'ni Cocktail Party every other week, the next of which is two weeks from now. And the Karaoke Party is happening tonight, which I am, ofcourse, going to attend. I swear, sil needs to, I dunno, make a "Best of Karaoke Night" thing or something, because, as I said in a previous post, we have an insane amount of insanely good singers in the Cavern.

Exodus

Wow, the DRC are all gone. Every single one of them. Plain and simple.

Sharper left too, atleast temporarily, it seems. I don't know where Nick, Engberg, and Watson are. but the only person that is still around for sure is Phil, as prophetic as always. I mean, what is going to happen now? Seriously. the Bahro are at war, and we're all alone down here. Again. But this time, there are hostile creatures flying around.

Yeesha is back too, assuming she was gone. Phil and Watson mentioned something about her being in Releeshahn, or just about. All I know is, she appeared in K'veer, announcing that the Bahro are at war, and some have chosen evil. Some have chosen revenge. She says she's going to distract them or something along those lines, it was so mystifying I found it hard to pay attention. All I know for sure is that she's here, again.

But what will become of the Cavern, I mean, we are completely ungoverned. I mean, if nothing else, the DRC have a whole stack of unreleased Ages, some of those containing Pento, and Kahlo, and many others I would certainly like to get into.
I mean, I was thinking about it today, maybe we could try to start a new system of Five Lords, I know that's a bit far-fetched and such, but it would be a neat idea. It's better than complete anarchy and knocking down DRC barriers and ignoring all previous restrictions.
But maybe Yeesha will finally take a step up, with the threat of the Bahro, and the disbanding of the DRC, and she will be our new leader. She, herself, can be a bit eccentric at times, but it would be good to have someone who truly knows the ways of the D'ni guiding us.

And, you know, what happened to those Maintainer suits?

"Destruction is coming. It is almost here. I will delay it as long as I can but, in the meantime, you must find a way. You must make a home. Destruction will be here soon." - Yeesha, near the conclusion of her speech

Night on Kerath's Arch

And yes, if you don't get the title, I'm making fun of "A Night on Bald Mountain," jeez..

Well, I hate myself for not posting in this blog more, but hey, since the PR Week started three days ago, I got something to talk about, eh? For starters, the DRC have finally re-released Ahnonay to the public, and, as a warning, this does contain spoilers.
Anywho, they've tweaked it a bit, and gotten rid of the lever in the Tower, so you need someone else to rotate the Spheres for you. And also, Yeesha seems to have moved some cloths around and installed a Shell Portal. But it was great being back on the "Outside," as I call it. It's basically an enormous waterfall, some blocky rocks, and the maze the Seat transport goes through, but it has its own brand of beauty.
And the new Great Tree jacket is very Renaissance Festival, and I've made up a costume to go with it, and the D'ni Mating Helm goes quite well with it. Kadish sure had a strange taste in clothes.

K'veer is also back, with a stained glass window that is absolutely gorgeous to look out of, so, basically, K'veer is still as great as ever, I'm anticipating the release of (What's left of) Myst, and I'll feel like a dork if I link down to the Cavern after this and it turns out that it's already out, but somehow I doubt it.
Both Kodama and Cate Alexander have left the DRC, which, even being Cate, is a BAD thing. I mean, Sutherlund and Laxman are still here. In fact, laxman linked to a private bevin earlier today and nobody could find him. Kodama left because without Cate, they officially have no funding.
Phil is still around, and they say Sharper, Nick, Watson, and Engberg are too. Though now instead of Him, Phil is chanting about Them, and we still don't know whether Watson was really Him, but Them is obviously the Bahro.

Actually, speaking of which, on the topic of the parodical title, the Bahro seem to have taken to flying around Kerath's Arch the past two days, yes, two days straight. I'm sure they're getting dizzy.
Earlier today, they started to land, and I must've seen six Bahro running around in ten minutes. Though, we don't really know whether they're good or bad Bahro, I think they're the good ones trying to warn us. The calm before the storm, so to speak. But, hey, you never know what's around the corner, and it may be time for a full-on Bahro War..

Halloween Underground

Well, it' almost Halloween, eh? And it seems even the DRC are in the spirit, since they set up pumpkins (Try not to smash them, maybe?), squash on the windowsills, and a wreath behind the Book Room in all the neighborhoods. You would have to wonder how all those got there, and I personally think that that would prove that Cate is obviously a robot.

But that'd be my opinion.

I think the pumpkins are a greater force brought from the surface to plot with the Cones to dominate the Cavern! They lurk in the shadows, and watch from the windows! THEY PLOT.. But again, heh, my opinion.
I believe the next one of the DRC's nifty PR Weeks begins on Thursday, day after Halloween, I'll have been up watching Ghost Hunters. But, yeah.

Ello Again!

Eh, sorry about my abscence and overly-mysterious last message, it was via KI and I was excited and didn't want to waste time, just trying to listen to the recently returned Mr. Watson. New Eagle Page, DRC Jacket (Did I mention that already?), and a whole bunch of other mysticism. But that's just to explain everything.

It was Firesign's birthday the other day, I actually meant to post this on that day, but its a little late, we threw the party the other day, and its been a couple days since the actual birthday. I think the situation was he was going somewhere on his birthday, I don't know deatils, don't even know if he's back yet, but Happy Birthday Firesign!
Plus there was the Karaoke Party's Bevin last night, and we really do have some mighty good singers out there, and I was thinking. Wouldn't it be funny if an explorer got on American Idol or something, just imagine:

AI Explorer:
I want to give a shout out to Yeesha, Atrus, Cate Alexander, Dr. Watson.. Uhh.. Laxman, and Phil, the colors, man! Yeah! And uh, to my parents, but they're not that important.
Simon: You suck.

But yeah, I suppose that's it, so, harohs!

Spies and Whys

Phil's lost it. Honestly.

He was on the roof of Tokotah I this morning, and not the rooftop, that little edge that you can see, you'll understand if you see the pictures people took while trying to bring him down. Most interesting though, is him saying that "He" is here.
New Fizzle in Teledahn Slave Caves, spoiler, bah, don't look, too late. Though now Sharper, DRC, who knows put the Spy Room Bahro Stone (Wasn't it a book?) back in its place, and ofcourse, Phil's Relto is still in its place. Though the DRC seem to have altered what they put in the Tokotah Room we can see. Making me believe even more they know about the Spy Room now.

Phil's Relto has been made public, which is causing who knows how many people to migrate and crowd up the place. Phil has the old bookshelf, oddly enough, and his whole bottom shelf of books I don't recognize. Do you think they could be Releeshahn, Noloben, and such? Who knows.
The Stained Glass Project winners are going up, haven't checked out the Bookrooms, ot sure if they put it up yet or anything.

Engberg is finally back for whatever purpose, a very short visit to the Pub, leaving more questions than answering them. And I have my own theories about "Him" and Engberg..

gUiLd MaNiA!!

Ah, Cate released the Guild Pubs today. Maintainers was the firstout, and then they added all the others one-by-one. And honestly, the suckiest thing is. The Guild of Maintainers' is UGLY, and that's my thing, man!
I mean, the Guild of Greeters' is girly, yes, get mad at me. But even though the Maintainers' have burgundy, which is dissapointing enough, I feared what the Pub would look like. The colorist sure stunk, but the architect was somewhat better, since it wasn't totally untasteful.
The Guild of Cartographers' had the Rezeero Map on the floor, the Messengers' was neat in yellow, though the Writers' Pub, as freakin' awesome as it looks, is simply screaming "The Emo's Pub!" which I'm sure people will hate me for. But I'm not calling all the Writers emo, I just think that the Pub is emo. I mean, look at all the cracks..

Plus, I found a GI-NORMOUS picture of Cate on the Greeters' Pub Imager, which freaked me out and made me laugh out loud at the exact same time, which was even more hysterical for on-lookers. Another visit from phend and his whimsical colors, and Nick said something about the University of Oregon, apparently. Or he's touched the DRC Bong.
There's a KI Message called "Guild Pubs Open," too.

And that's about it, though there might be more today, I'm afraid I must head up.

Acid Trip

Well, I dunno, but I think Phil's either lost it or Yeesha's got him on something.

He's cryptic and all that as usual ofcourse, but he reappeared today and started in Blabbity's hood saying something about music and playing really weirdly with the garden lights for no particular reason.
Then he moved on to Kirel and started talking about colors like a madman, and green, and said "Man.." a real lot. And he ended his trip in NULP's Bevin babbling about cones and acting a a bit.. off. Honestly, I think he's been touching the shroom.

Cate was in Kirel, her appearance was actually wierdly mysterious, talked about the Guild Pubs, a few people mentioned the Spy Room Sharper gave us a few years back, apparently he told the DRC, cause Cate wasn't surprised, said it was crowded, and left.
I wouldn't say she was loopy like phend, but she seemed a bit occupied, if nothing else..

And to top the day off, Reteltee went crazy too. He showed up in the Watcher's Sanctuary a couple times hallucinating about Dr. Phil and eyeballs. Honestly, I'm wondering if the DRC is passing around a bong around to even the Guild Advisors.
The only person who seems sane is JD Barnes, saw him around midnight earlier, and just now, whose as methodical and enigmatic as usual. He's definetely earning my respect, whether or not he's making a documentary or he's DRC. I don't care, I like the man. Also, just FYI since I might as well spread it around, Mr. Barnes has published the first episode of his documentary on YouTube, so you should check it out. It's in two parts, so look at them both.

"Man... We need colors." - phend, acting a bit loopy in Kirel

The Day of Dancing!

Well, the day has arrived!

I missed the first half of it, but caught it during dodo's portion in his Tetsonot. personally, I thought the place was crazy creepy, but with lots of people and techno music, it really did turn into a rave. It's actually a pretty good idea.
Then there was Ktahdn in the Hall of Kings, and Vortmax in his Payiferen, and all that good stuff! This would have honestly had to be one of my single-most favorite times in the Cavern pretty much ever! There was the Great Portal Party, the 24 Calibration Thing, and the Kadish Dance Party, but nothing compares to this!

It literally is dancing, DJs, and everything for a straight twenty-four hours, and Thend doesn't get to sleep. Don't forget the party paddle and crazy Squees!

Ain't the longest post in the world, but that's all there is to it, being awesome! :D

The Looters Cometh!!

I spent half the day in the Cavern today, early afternoon consisted of spectating Thend, Janine, and the others rehearsing the Day of Dancing, testing audio, servers, and all that crap. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to make Firesign and Jin's turn, I love everyone else's turns too, but I dunno. ireen's is called B'Chill.. Eh, that's so going to be used out of context, isn't it?

Later, spent some time (After some transformations in the Handy Dandy Closet.) fooling kyashii into thinking I was a visitor or something like that. Ended up in Kal's Er'Cana, and my linkness screwed on me, long story.
Then, highlight of my day (SR may wanna tell me if this is confidential or anything, but chances are whatzisname already knows who ya'll are.) Apparently, Foxylass, Andy Legate, Ravenclaw, and I'm sure somebody else was at some sort of auction and somebody put a linking book up for bid. I can't quite imagine what an audience's reaction would be, though.
I don't really know exactly what happened, I arrived in the middle, didn't catch the whole gist, but I think Mr. Kennicot, their head of security, put it for bid. May've been a caller, I know looters had something to do with it.
But they also said that Mr. Kennicot said that a "Mr. Halifax" did it, and there was an informant named Pockets who really liked money.

And at some point, they ended up being shot at by somebody or other, and Ravenclaw was grazed at the shoulder, it didn't look horrible, but I think everyone knew it was there until he mentioned it. And there was something about Montgomery almost getting fired, though I dunno if he was SR, or the Guild of Inspectors. Maybe he was just there.
Anywho, seems the Subterranean Explorations Bevin is turning out to be quite an interesting place to be lately. I know Arthur Kalnins went off somewhere, haven't checked on anything, it would be embarrassing if it turned out he was out and about..

I suppose I should be taking this seriously, but, well, I wasn't shot at. :P

Down Underground

Ha! I barely decided on a new blog title, but I put it as a post name! MWUHAHAHAHA! I'm clever, aren't I? Yes, yes I am.

The only reason I'm really here is because I feel kinda guilty cause I realized I just post during PR Weeks, yes, I know nothing else really too interesting happens outside them anymore. But I used to post just for parties in the city. (Wher'd Ravenclaw and Jin goOoOo?) But hey, why not, eh?

Regarding the PR Week, the DRC released a new photo of a green-ish (Pretty sure..) Watcher's Pub they seem to be releasing soon. Apparently its about how all the Guilds have Pubs or something or other..
Whoo! Go Maintainers! Writers are great too, but mostly cause they have the coolest Guild shirt, but whatever, I guess.

Also, on exciting events, there's the D'ni Day of Dancing on the third. WHich DEFINETELY isn't very far away. Twenty-four hours of dancing, DJ's, and music. Wow, I don't envy the DJ's who can't sleep.
DocOlanA is doing history, Jin's doing rock, ireenquench (I think) is doing chill music, and so on, and so on, and so on. The point is, it it will be really SWEET.

So.. Pull up your breeches.. For it.. Yeah!

Phil Returns

Wow, today is just, amazing, I know the fact that Bahro appeared like crazy is great and all, but something awesome has happened today.

Phil, or phend, has finally returned today! I mean, I'm at a loss for words, I know a whole lot of people thought he was dead, I always believed just a little bit. Seems that familiar voices from the past are returning. Leads me to wonder what will happen with Watson? I remember somebody said it, but it would be so climactic and dramatic if Engberg finds Watson and brings him back with him.
Phend speaks of the Bahro in the same, old, slow way, no offense to the guy, alot of dramatic pauses. He obviously has had some relation with them, he wears the shirt of Yeesha now. And a good Bahro linked in and he interacted with it in such a casual way.
He speaks of many ominous things, and to me, personally, I know he didn't always talk super-fast and such, but he seems hypnotized, or traumatized, or something. he kept on repeating something. Not saying Escher put him in a trance or anything, but something doesn't seem quite right about him..

What the bloody hell has he been doing all this time?

he said he wanted to get back sooner when he spoke to Sharper, who I'm sure he's relieved that he didn't inadvertantly kill the man, I'm sure his conscience is finally cleared, and Sharper admitted he made a mistake, so I'm regaining my respect for the man.
I dunno, I'm sure the DRC wasn't expecting this mid-PR Week, but well, it would seem like great news to me. Like many others, I wish I could've seen Lexie's face when she heard about this, ofcourse, who knows where she is?

Couple new KImails called "Guild Advisor," which is about Reteltee, and "Phil Henderson Returns," which speaks for itself.

Jalak Jumble

I wanted to say "Jalak Jungle," but it didn't make sense, and outside the slopes, Jalak actually is a jungle, and Jumble felt appropriate considering the nature of the Age.

Anywho, Cate finally brought Jalak Dador into the Library, though it was fun cause she messed with the Explorers by going to one pedestal with it, standing there for a bit, then circling around, virtually invisible in the crowd, to another pedestal and I think one more.
Its a pretty fun Age, and I think I'm finally beginning to understand it a bit, you use the Column Controls to change around the way the pillars are set up, and to make blue blocks, or as I prefer "prisms" fall from the sky, there are a few types, all shown off in the album, which is as yet incomplete.
You can play Soccer, Quick Blocks, and something else the DRC had in the Jalak manual..

In other news, Sharper decided not to go back to Noloben, I don't know why and such, since I wasn't there, but there is a chat log that I have to read. And they sent out a KImail (Ofcourse.) called "Jalak is released" that's about, eh, Jalak being released.

Nothing much else to say, besides the fact that I'm arranging my columns in a way that I like to call "Crazy Stairs" after that famous abstract painting, with all the funky stairs, doors, and ladders. I always thought they should make an Age like that..

"I can't tell you how many times I've gone on a date and fallen through the floor, they never called again after that." - Firesign, responding to when Overdrive commented about gaps in the Jalak columns

Madhouse of the Bahro

That would make a great In-cavern B-Movie..

Not much to say today, but then again, I have to head up early today. I have technically seen three Bahro today, but its still exciting, but its becoming a bit too regular to me. What sucks is, the only one I was at from the very beginning was really short, and it was a baby one.
Also, I'm thinking about trying to catch on Prihntahn, which means "Small One" in D'ni for the name of the tiny little young Bahro. I say it'll catch on, we need to think up more D'ni names for stuff, I know I'm not the only creative one down here.

The fizzle from July has disappeared, and come to think of it, don't they appear on the first usually? Chances are its in Jalak Dador (Full name, wheee!) somewhere, though I don't think it'll be released today. If it is, I'll be ticked, because I won't be able to come back till tomorrow morning.
Looking forward to Jalak, the arena place, but don't have much more to say about it, though I do think it looks more like Maya, Aztec, Inca, or something. You don't suppose the D'ni had any relations with ancient civillizations' eh?

Though those may actually have been before the D'ni, who knows?

There's a "Pellet Analysis" KI Image, and a KImail from the DRC about "Increased Bahro Sightings," plus an amazing picture of "Manloc's Relto" with Bahro in it. And that t'would be it.

Bahro Rising

Well, the Cavern has gone to all heck, everything's just so depressing.

Earlier today the Bahro linked into the Watcher's Sanctuary with the Bahro Sharper had wasted and mourned it for a few minutes as he and Nick linked off. It was sad, it was horrible, and I just don't know what to say about it.
I just don't have words, but I'm convinced that whatever this is, it isn't right, not even a little bit. I'm not mad, but almost disappointed. Montgomery has suggested a petition to get Sharper out of the employment of the DRC, but I dunno.

Kirel is out though, so it got my mind a bit more off matters. It's blue, it's backwards, it's the Anti-Bevin! And there are tables all around the place that let you choose between the Guild of Cartographers, Greeters, Writers, Messengers, and Maintainers.
I chose Maintainers, though the Writers had the pimpingest shirt. Since it was black with a red emblem. They have another donut imager, but they don't let us store all the shirts in our handy-dandy wardrobe. And they don't let us put it on hoodies or change its color.

There are visits from Cate, Kodama, Nick, and all the DRC, talking about Kirel, Q&A, Guildness, and all that. Plus there are KImails called "Bahro seen in Watcher's Pub" and "Kirel Open." And that's it.
Plus, people are starting to think about some things, and they're right. Sharper is practically starting to become Escher, there are similiarities to the man in many ways. Though, I suppose that that game by Cyan was simply based off the Stranger's journals..

"Who do you think responded better?" - ian1, the ending line of a testimony of Sharper's cruelness towards the Bahro

Dalek Missing in Action!

Well, Bob "The Jukebox" Dalek has seen many a party, many a people, and many a pellet. We even found a way to climb on top of him by getting on top of the dock railing. But Laxman felt the need to take him away just because he wanted to stop him from evolving into a human Dalek (Lamest plot turn EV_UR!).
And so, this post is in his honor, aswell to explain a few things about what's goin' on today, so..

Sharper's back, so Nick's said in TGT Bevin today, Cate made a visit to Guild of Greeters too, somebody made a KI Log post on UO Forums somewhere, too lazy to look, so, oh well. I'll check that put tomorrow. Also Reteltee was told something by Cate, too, dunno what, another thing I'll have to check into tomorrow. Heh.
Sharper also came about shortly before I linked to the surface and talked a bit about his expedition, how he can tell them apart and such.

And well, another short post, and that's it. Yeah, who knew. Just a new KI message called "Pellet Update."

Playing with Pellets

Well, the pellet work is going along nicely, I've been fooling around with the recipes for the past couple weeks or so. And got set back a week cause I accidentally reset my Er'Cana (Long story.) I'm at about 10, 421 right about now, yes, been lagging behind for the past week, but I got a great recipe from Whilyam and am back on track!

Not actually that much to say, Whilyam is still throwing parties most every night, attending less and less. We found a neat, cool backpack in Er'Cana, that once tweaked in the Handy Magical Closet, looked quite nice.
I call it "Xavius' Archeonaut Costume" along with "The Mad Leprechaun," "The Post Santa," "Indiana Claybourne," and many other lovable characters.

Wow, short entry, right?

Er'Cana Pains

Ah, Er'Cana is getting tiresome, its not that it took very long to complete, but its just, the pellet thing got a bit old very fast. Though blowing up the lake with bad pellets was a bit fun at first, even if it's damaging the algae, which is, admittedly, bad.
besides, I got into the act after a bit, racking up some points on that funky pellet meter in the KI screen, if you have one, you'll know what I mean and such. I should probably get a picture of that up here, ah well, in due time.

Also, on older news, late last night, AFTER I went to bed, they sent out a KI message called Wheely Memorial which talks about Marie Sutherlund's (Personally) tacky new Memorial, though I don't wish to forsake the dead. Plus the new one about Er'Cana Pellets.
Now, back to the present, the DRC are starting a new stained glass project for the now operational Great Zero. Since they're still going over the Garden ones. Never actually mentioned that before, but I am now.

Plus, Laxman left a funky machine at the docks which is sorta like a high-tech barrel with wires and a digital panel that so far says: "__1" for whatever reasons. Seems its measuring the brightness of the lake. Wonder if it reminds anyone else of the Daleks? Mysteries around it are abound! Go figure.
Though I still think the new green cloths in Er'Cana are ugly, but the restored lights are great, so whatever.

Plus we've got a new Relto Page that gives us those funky stalks from Er'Cana, and they placed the Tie-Dye shirt back in the Teledahn Slave Office, tacky, 70's, but still very kewl.

Er'Cana Insanity

Boy, let's wind this up..

Er'Cana was released today, it's a bit different than the unauthorized release, but who's counting. They have a "Cloth Meter" on the other side of the ridge, they restored the lighting panels, and the Firemarbles Page hasn't been released, unfortunately.
And we have been charged with the duty of lighting up the Cavern by dropping Glo-Pellets (TM) into the lake, so..

Just before that, Marie dropped by a few times to recap and chat around with the explorers and such.

That was when Cate brought in the Er'Cana Book and Marie linked into the City (Which I can't get into!!) and paid her respects to Wheely and Rosette. During that visit she set up the Memorial Imager which shows the names of those who have died in the Cavern.
Such as Phil Henderson, Branch, and Wheely Engberg.

Then Marie began looking around for Reteltee's KI Number in the City. She wants to ask him about the guild system that he had questioned him on. So a bit later he was allowed into the Council's Bevin, and he came back and had a long Q&A with a whole bunch of explorers. A whole bunch of stuff he was forbidden to talk about, evidently.
Nick White distracted them a bit with a quick link into the Watcher's Sanctuary. Talked about a new person the DRC were working with named JD Barnes, don't know much about him, haven't read any KI Logs since I missed him, but oh, well.
Missed JD when he introduced himself in GoG (Wow, first time in a hood again! Newbie!), finding myself curious what he looks like. Was a long time 'till I saw Laxman too, but anyways..

Cate Elected, Oh Dear!

Sweet smokin' Yahvo, the Fall of D'ni has come! Cate Alexander was elected to the DRC in Micheal Engberg's stead. Honestly, I was pulling for Jeff Zandi or Sharper, ah well. I suggest we put on our hardhats and wait for the Cavern to fall in..

Going back to yesterday, which I recorded nothing of when I needed to, Kodama linked in and told us that previous to the collapse, the Kahlo Pub was structurally sound. And he voiced his opinion, which was "obviously" the Bahro.
And, personally, more importantly, Laxman finally fired up the Great Zero, and it was glowing and humming as the orange beam flew into it and all that dramatic stuff.

Back to today, Cate is talking about possible advertising in the Cavern, such as illuminated billboards in the City showing D'nitos!

And Marie linked into the Sanctuary to talk about her opinion on Cate joining among other things, and at some point Cate joined in the sometimes heated conversation.
And last but definetely not least, Doug Sharper linked in with an announcement. He has gained access to Noloben and plans to go in and get revenge for Wheely, Rosette, and Peggy Sue. He's going to go in and hopes to interact with the good Bahro, and to bring back the body of a bad one.
Many people disagreed with him or abhorred the idea, and he was essentially "booed off the stage" and said he'd come back when they'd understand it.

Besides that, there were a couple new KImails by the names of Great Zero Activated and Cate Alexander Elected.

"But I will come back with a body." - Douglas Sharper, explaining what he will do in Noloben

Victor, Cate, and KImails

Well, today it seems the DRC are back at it, I wouldn't call it a spike, but there was sure as heck enough to make notable, I suppose.

There were Micheal Engberg Still Missing, Explorer Created Quests, Great Zero Activation, and The Watchers Pub respectively. Downloaded straight from my KI, aye.
Then Victor Laxman linked into the Public City and talked to everyone for awhile, about things such as the Great Zero, Wheely, and the Bahro and Bahronoir.

Then, awhile after the Watcher's Pub, which I'm pretty sure is a Sanctuary, and blah-de-blah, anywho, it opened, and everyone started linking in, which, ofcourse caused LINK-IN LAG people were "merging" with other people and appearing to take a step ten times before they appeared across the room.
Basically the rapid influx of linking caused a rift that messed up physics and movement, if you're getting it. Screwed with the KIs too.

Then Cate appeared in the Sanctuary/Pub and talked about the Bahro, Er'Cana, which is supposed to be released on Tuesday or Wednesday, and the new Age the DRC is working on, Jalak, which is supposed to be some sort of game arena, and she says we'll probably have fun.

Her visit didn't help with the lag, though.

On the Ytram

Okay, I spent most of my morning in MoonLightShadow's Kadish Tile Puzzle, and I unknowingly walked into the Puzzlers Meeting, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's pretty kewl. Just had no idea what I was doing. Heh.
We spoke about a whole lot of things, everyone has a subject, subjects, etcetera. Then it proceeded to the Bahro and what might happen next, is there war, what will happen with Watson, and such. Its very educational, and we're studying stuff.

Then I snuck my way to solving the Tile Puzzle so we could go down the elevator, and me and kyashii snuck into the Vault, which we locked and spent a little time in, then we blew out of there when he started PMing us.
Hid out in kyashii's Relto for awhile, needlessly, to be perfectly honest, but we were still there all the same, did some experiments with island hopping. And kyashii attempted to get back to the island by repeatedly hopping up a slanted edge of the island from a different island.

Then I came back tonight and spent some more time is Tsogal, just talking about stuff. Yali has had some interesting dreams about the Miller Brothers becoming Iraq Dictators, and his Mother beating up Greydragon, so..

Yeah, suppose that's it.

Tandy's Birthday

Today was Tandy's Birthday so sil_oh_wet threw her a pajama party instead of a Karaoke Party today. There was some Karaoke for awhile, but she ran out and started up with the real tunes, which was way better, if you ask me.
Dakro spent all last night setting up the cones in UO on the seats of the Heek Table, and he got really frustrated whenever I went near him. And I was the guy protecting the Cone Cave (Gameroom Alcove).

Nothing else much happened, have an annoying shortage of quotes cause I haven't been recording and barely anybody around the past few days, the Cavern seems to be oddly silent.
I'm about to go to bed, sometimes I wonder if I spend too much time down here. There's probably a "You Know You Spend Too Much Time in the Cavern If.." somewhere.

Well, whatever, harohs, and goodnight.

UruBlogs

Well, two days in a row, both with double posts, some may call it annoying, but blah. Like the other one, this one just has to with an add-on, actually, to another website, anyone ever heard of UruBlogs?
Actually, I'd imagine not, atleast until now, cause I may actually have a reader every month or two, and they'll likely come only from that site, so, whatever.

I still post here, since its connected to the site, and whatever. Said whatever twice, eh.
The only real downside is the people I've mentioned here, though not an absolute insult, such as Arcadian and TayLogan, might now read it. Creepy thought.
Plus, I'm listening to The Cavern Today PodCast #26 as I type all this up, nice and long.

And here's another quote that I took from my list on My Tumblelog, whooo!

"'I, Kadish, painted a chicken. Bow down before me. I did it mathematically.'" - krystyn, talking about who would paint a chicken

BBC or BCC?

Well, I didn't post yesterday because access to the Cavern was down, but today its back up, so, yeah.
Though I can't say anything too terribly interesting happened, I played a little Heek in Guide of Greeter's Bevin, which was the ONLY hood with anybody in it at the time.

The only other interesting thing was that I spent some time in UO talking to some folks about the Bahro and Wheely's death a few weeks ago, Thend was there for the Bahro Contact Comittee meeting, which he was Co-Leader of, turns out nobody showed up, people just kept coming in via Nexus since we had the most people currently besides the Guide of Greeters, who the least people I've ever seen it have is two.
Nobody actually showed up for the meeting though, turns out Thend didn't advertise enough, so, like I said, the only reason people were there was because we were somewhat populated at the time.

A couple of interesting characters appeared, like Rechchoortahn and TayLogan, and it turns out Tay is an actually Irish name, go figure, sure the Moiety (Or Moietay, for that matter) didn't know that one: Tay Logan. Go figure, and it was a guy too, now I can only hope he never finds this post.
Also, spent some of the night at another one of Ravenclaw's parties in the public city, and that's about it.
And don't forget, if anyone's actually reading this, Explorer or not, to check out my Uru Tumblelog every once in awhile, stuff'll be popping up there, remember, more quotes, whoo!

"She did, but what she meant was 'Pento is perfectly safe if you don't mind coughing up your lungs after two minutes.'" - TayLogan, talking about Pento and Lexie

Xavius' Tumblelog!!

Oh yeah, and before I head out, and yes, I know it hasn't been that long since my last post. But just a minute ago I found out about Tumblelog, and I made one for random logs and stuff that relates to the stuff here, I'm not moving!
I'll still be here, but I'll have an extra Tumblelog to mess around with, if anyone is actually reading this, which I'm sure they aren't, check it out here.

And hey, why not add another quote, since now every day you'll be able to get a whole list of quotes on the Tumblelog. Though I wish I could make the giant text smaller..

"So I went to UO Bevin and all I got was a lousy spiral?" - SwiftHawk, when talking about Yeesha and the Spiral

Spirals and Stuff

Wow, running out of puns..

Anywho, as soon as I linked in, I found out Thend was making a Spiral to summon Yeesha or communicate with the Bahro. And we spent several hours waiting around in a spiral that started from the center of the fountain, nothing happened.
Except some weird guy named Yeesh-o showed up, said he/she was Yeesha's long-lost cousin and warned us in very bad grammar.

Then everybody headed over to the UO Tsogal and listened to Jinanin's SHOUTcast and hung out, nothing too exciting, it turned into a pool party for a bit near the end, and I changed into Zandi's hawaiian thing.
Everybody talked about movies and stuff, like Spiderman 3 and PotC 3, turns out they were going to make seven, but Keira Knightley wants to stop acting somewhere in her twenties..

So, we mostly partied, spiralled, and hung out all day, nothing too terribly exciting besides the heavy debate during the spiral-making about the Bahro's intentions and whether or not Sharper had been lying.
I really do spend ALL my time down here, especially pending on how long I actually spent on the spiral.

Showed FlangBC that the City Book in Relto is hood-instanced, tried my hat at tent-climbing, still can't get up top, seems the DRC was trying to stop us from doing just that. And never jump on the lights, they're HOT.
I also checked out KARAOKE PARTY's Bevin, the explorers there have lots of talent, sil_oh_wet's mixed all their tapes together and put them on a SHOUTcast, its actually pretty cool there.
Well, Payiferen sunset is coming up, Jin's catching her Negilahnportal, and everybody in Tsogal is heading off to Migo's Payiferen to catch it, so off I go.

Party, Partah!

Well, today I didn't really do much, just roamed around the UO Hood in the morning with 909, Dakro, AKA, and a few others of the limited amount of hood members that were on. Talking about the war and some stuff, like the Diver Light and Ae'Gura fishies.
I'm really anticipating the Maintainer Suits coming out, everybody's noticed Laxman has started some work on the fitters, so.

Dakro has stashed all the cones, firemarbles, and Eddie in the little alcove with the entrance to what I think is the Bevin Gameroom in the Hood. Its kinda neat, and its in my Album.

Besides that there was the D'ni Party's Bevin, which I also have a new picture of in my Album, Donahoo, Akira, Doobes, and all the rest. Plus AKA and 909 again, whoo. I thought I would have a bigger paragraph about that, but that's it.
The Imagers are real screwy, so, whatever. I'm off for now.

"I got voices in my head, but luckily they are in sign language." - Nine-o-Nine, when Thend started talking about voices in his head

Ravenclaw and Reminiscient

Well, Ravenclaw threw another party in the Public City tonight, and I just got up and I'm doing this before I go to bed, since I've been neglecting this. Nice music, met Granelda, well, guess I've met here before, met beachrm, and met Ravenclaw a bit more formally.
So, eh, that's about it, you'd be surprised I'd even be blogging if I didn't have to explain the events that happened a couple weeks ago:

Well, week started off with some serious DRC activity, Nick White, Doug Sharper, Laxman, and Cate Alexander popped up like crazy. At one point Laxman had to link away due to seismic activity in the Cavern.
Nick White appeared in the Pub and noticed a crack in the wall of the corridor, and Engberg explained about it later.
Everybody started looking at it against what Mike said, even though they put up a barrier.

Then Willow, or Wheely, Engberg's daughter was trapped under the Pub with Rosette, who died almost immedieately. Wheely was under there for days, explorers all supported her, and there were strange blue, Bahro eyes floating in the corner.
When they finally reached her, the Bahro went crazy and attacked Wheely, Micheal, and ResEng122. She was reported dead from mauling, and the DRC set up a memorial where the crack used to be, and Engberg dissepeared after a vigil at the memorial.

There were a bunch of Relto Pages, Flora, Satellites, and Grass.

Also, Minkata was released, which is a big deserty Age with craters and five caves that change the time from day to night, and the night has floating, green Bahro Glyphs. There's also flags, a cage, and alot of sand. Plus an (Personally) ugly pair of hiking boots.
Also, Sharper reported that the Bahro are within a Civil War, since they ambushed him, and he was saved by Bahro, and attacked by others.

And that's it, wow.

It all just really sucks because I've always wanted to meet Wheely and I missed her the last couple of times she's been In-Cavern, and now I'll never see her again. I paid my respects at the Memorial they set up, and I feel like taking a couple days off. Even though I know I won't and will hate myself for it.

Rest in Peace
Willow "Wheely" Engberg

It Begins!

Well, I suppose today hasn't been quite as exciting as the title'll make it sound, but still, the DRC has been passing around some new stuff. For example, there's some new hoody designs in our botttomless closets.
Which is great, cause the orange hoody is just about my trademark at this point.

There's also a new Relto Page in Descent, just in plan site inside Eder Tomahn (The Way-Point, Mid-Shaft, etcetera etcetera..) that gives you a neat little music box that plays ragtime tunes, one of Leanor's "favourite songs."
I don't have a picture of the actual box yet, but I have a photo of the Page that I won't put in my album (Since its a spoiler.) that's in the Cavern Today.

I never did mention the new Fizzle/Sparklie in the last post, well here it is: And its in Descent. Very easy to find, just like the Relto Page.

And yes, I just took a quote from my iGoogle's "Quotes of the Day" since I wasn't in the Cavern very long and nobody said anything but Walker waving hello..

"One man alone can be pretty dumb sometimes, but for real bona fide stupidity, there ain't nothin' can beat teamwork." - Edward Abbey

Blehdity-Blah

Oh, I probably won't be posting so much now.

Stuff HAS happened, just not very interesting, the DRC have been so inactive.

vid left a message at his house, vid came back, rveealed he had an illness, there was a party at ravenclaw's, Psion's 125th Day thingy, and there was a party on the UO Balcony yesterday.

Basically nothing, I don't have what the message said anymore, but I have a few pictures of the party at Ravenclaw's, oh yeah, and D'ni Party bevin, and the Balcony in my album. Too lazy to post a link to my album, use a past post and backtrack.

Uh..

I finished my Kemo album, and I climbed to the top of my Relto Waterfall ( Not an overall pleasant experience.) and that's about it. Visited the Guardians Bevin, can't tell if they were new or not, but to be perfectly honest, everyone seemed awfully new to the whole Restoration game, and Eudoras was a bit too enthusiastic with my D'ni Mating Helm.

That's just about the short and long of it.. Yeah..

"Now, let us play PING-PONG!!" - Dakro on the Balcony using a funny Japanese accent while playing around

The Case of the Missing Vidster

Apparently, vid's been kidnapped.

He appeared some time last night after dissapearing when he jumped down the Shaft with Janine. He ran through the hood with Montgomery and K'Tania in it, yelling "WE'RE OUT OF TIME!" and "WE NEED TO GET OUT!" freaking out and such.
He ran through the hood like a maniac, and scrambled up to the Bookroom, and he swiped his hand across the Gahreesen Book, and the two explorers followed him through it.
He continued to run like a madman straight to the Locker Room, where he linked to the balcony.

They followed him there, and he somehow managed to leap straight over the side of the balcony, and as he plummeted through the air, he just pretty much vanished.
Nobody know what's happened to him, nobody know where he went, and they don't know what's going on now.

Andy Legate said he linked in and saw a strange explorer with a white DRC Hat and his KI didn't register his name. As he turned awkwardly away, the figure started following him, and he Relto'd out.
Besides that, yeah, nothing new. besides ALL that. I recorded most of the meeting to discuss it hopefully, but I had to come up, and I'm gonna add this before I head off to run errands.

People have been saying he's "hoaxing" us, or a Bahro chased him, just showing itself to vid, the DRC are thinking vid got to close, I think I suggested the funny DRC-hatted guy chasing him in a Maintainer Suit with invisible capabilities. Hmm. Oh, yeah, and the Shaft being the Rabbit Hole from Alice in Wonderland.

"Stop saying that, cream puffs are good!" - Valdez, after I'd said vid had been chased away by cream puffs and they were nasty. Several times.

Parties and Owies

D'ni Party's Bevin was booming last night, I almost forgot about it, but I was there, I was koo'!

Can't say much more about, sorry there's such a small mention of such an awesome event, but that's about all I can say.
besides that, I spent some more time in the Descent, got a few awesome falling KI Images. One of looking up from mid-air, and one a happily close picture of the bottom of the Shaft. I'm rather proud of them, and they're on the Imager now. Though'll most likely be gone by the time anyone looks.
But I also found out theres a possible shortcut to the Shaft below, its dangerous and almost never works, but eh.
Basically, you go to the opposite side of the Shaft from the mid-chamber, and you walk slowly backwards toward the ledge, you'll fall, but don't panic, just jump, or breastroke your way forward to the air when your mid-way between the mid-chamber and the bottom.
If you do it wrong, you'll slam painfully off the wall and flip into the air with almost NO time to get to panic-link.

I haven't made it, but I found it out by accidentally jumping forward in mid-air, and I latched onto a nearby wall.

Plus, I put some short KI-sized stories on the UO Imager called "It's a Long way Down" and "An Interesting Experience." About falling down the Shaft and walking through a Bahro as it links in to place the Bahro Stone.
And that's jus' 'bout it, ya'll! Spent some time in UO, and I'm blogging this before I head up for possibly the day, I dunno. I may actually have some free time.

Still haven't got the Descent Album up..

But I DID read Watson's notes, sounds like he either took the Journey or commited suicide.

"Well, it'll make us look slimmer!" - imara, referring to BrettM's mention of the Day of Darkness, where we all dress in black to celebrate the DRC and Yeesha leaving us in the dark.

ADM02 Rally Highlights

This is kinda dumb, but Montgomery made up a log recorded on his KI and posted it in the Assembly of Guilds, and I found it today, and I think its pretty cool and a bit dramatic, even, so here goes..

(04/24 02:24:23) Prof. Matt Ovesen: They have the forensic test results.
(04/24 02:25:27) Prof. Matt Ovesen: The forensic tests they did on the animal remains.

(04/24 02:26:01) Sydney Austin: Has everyone sent a message to cate's KI
(04/24 02:26:14) Sydney Austin: Demanding answers

(04/24 02:27:08) Prof. Matt Ovesen: We want answers NOW!

(04/24 02:29:28) Sydney Austin: Time to demand

(04/24 02:30:55) Sydney Austin: And she didn't show
(04/24 02:31:02) Sydney Austin: So its time to demand

(04/24 02:31:06) Prof. Matt Ovesen: By not showing up, Cate is proving that she has something to hide!

(04/24 02:32:06) Prof. Matt Ovesen: She will not bow down to cowardly, quiescent explorers.

(04/24 02:34:42) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Why hasn't Sharper been back to add to his journal?
(04/24 02:35:06) Sydney Austin: Maybe sharper knows too much

(04/24 02:37:04) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Those who don't care for animals don't care for other humans either.

(04/24 02:38:25) sil_oh_wet: If the DRC does not represent tonight - what does that tells us?
(04/24 02:38:46) Prof. Matt Ovesen: It tells us they are hiding something.
(04/24 02:39:00) Prof. Matt Ovesen: It only takes ten minutes to come here.

(04/24 02:39:30) Sydney Austin: Send a rep in if she is afaid to face us

(04/24 02:43:57) Sydney Austin: The DRC must think we are stupid!!!

(04/24 02:45:48) Montgomery: Rils saw ONE shredded animal. And the cause is still unknown. Why do you assume otherwise?
(04/24 02:46:23) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Exactly Montgomery! Why are they hiding the cause??
(04/24 02:46:36) Sydney Austin: We want cate
(04/24 02:46:42) Sydney Austin: We want answers
(04/24 02:46:55) Sydney Austin: We want answers
(04/24 02:47:12) Sydney Austin: We want answers!!
(04/24 02:47:32) Sydney Austin: we demand the hidden information
(04/24 02:47:43) Sydney Austin: We demand the hidden information
(04/24 02:46:46) Montgomery: Professor, what on Earth makes you tink they know the cause?
(04/24 02:47:04) Prof. Matt Ovesen: They know the forensic results.
(04/24 02:47:19) Prof. Matt Ovesen: It is obvious they are hiding something.
(04/24 02:47:55) Montgomery: How do you know they have any "forensic results?"
(04/24 02:48:17) Thanakar: Montgomery, Rils said he took tissue samples
(04/24 02:49:13) Montgomery: Then why not simply ask RIls? Why all of the drama?
(04/24 02:49:37) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Rils knows nothing.

(04/24 02:49:26) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Who are they to hide the information?
(04/24 02:49:46) Montgomery: Who are you to presume they have information and not disclosing it?
(04/24 02:50:11) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Why don't they tell us they have no information? They are hiding something.
(04/24 02:50:21) Prof. Matt Ovesen: It would only take ten minutes.
(04/24 02:51:20) Montgomery: Did it ever occur to you, Professor, that they saimply have no answers to give?

(04/24 02:50:18) Mister Cloak: keeping information from people is a right, I believe that the DRC have the right to withold information, especially if that information is incomplete
(04/24 02:50:52) Keren: Who are they to decide when we are ready to hear the truth?
(04/24 02:51:03) Mister Cloak: and who are you?
(04/24 02:51:22) Mister Cloak: why should they jump at your beck and call everytime that you want to know something?
(04/24 02:51:25) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Why do you not care about the animals, Cloak?
(04/24 02:51:58) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Why are you helping the DRC to hide, Cloak?

(04/24 02:55:07) Prof. Matt Ovesen: If they aren't hiding anything, then why don't they tell us something??
(04/24 02:56:04) Montgomery: LOL! Professor! If they aren't hiding anything , then they have nothing to tell you! Did you skip logic class?

(04/24 02:58:45) Prof. Matt Ovesen: I prefer to call them the Restoration Delusionists, ha, ha!

(04/24 02:59:19) Sydney Austin: I gave them a chance before the protest to start the facts
(04/24 02:59:42) Sydney Austin: But cate ignored my ki message a message directly for nick white to here
(04/24 02:59:46) Sydney Austin: *her
(04/24 03:00:00) Sydney Austin: So all we have left is to protest and demand

(04/24 03:04:02) Prof. Matt Ovesen: All the evidence points to the DRC hiding something.
(04/24 03:04:33) Montgomery: Professor -- WHAT EVIDENCE? You keep pulling that out of thin air.
(04/24 03:04:39) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Yes, we want facts. And the DRC is withholding facts.
(04/24 03:05:00) Prof. Matt Ovesen: You haven't been listening, Mongomery.
(04/24 03:05:07) Montgomery: You don't know the DRC is witholding facts. You're maiking that up.
(04/24 03:05:22) Prof. Matt Ovesen: All the evidence points to it.
(04/24 03:05:29) Ethan Hunt: If they aren't witholding facts, where are they. Where are the DRC and the facts?
(04/24 03:05:33) Montgomery: WHAT EVIDENCE?
(04/24 03:05:34) Thanakar: someone has told the ADM something montgomery, they aren't making this up i'm afraid
(04/24 03:05:46) Porsha: do you have proof that they are not withholding information from us Monty?
(04/24 03:06:04) Ethan Hunt: There silence is all the evidence that is needed.
(04/24 03:06:05) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Montgomery, I don't KNOW that you are against the ADM, but all the evidence points to it.
(04/24 03:06:08) Montgomery: You can't prove a negative. Yawn.
(04/24 03:06:18) Ethan Hunt: Sure you can.
(04/24 03:06:29) Ethan Hunt: That is an obtuse argument Monty.
(04/24 03:06:47) Prof. Matt Ovesen: He's grasping at straws.
(04/24 03:06:51) Montgomery: Oh, I've made that clear [that I'm against the DRC]. No mystery there. But what evidence can you give me that the DRC HAVE facts, and not sharing them?
(04/24 03:07:23) Ethan Hunt: The very fact that they are silent. If there were no facts to hide, they would tell us.
(04/24 03:07:24) Prof. Matt Ovesen: The evidence points to it.
(04/24 03:07:52) Thanakar: has noone ever heard of a confidential source?
(04/24 03:07:57) Sydney Austin: I have a reliable sorce monty that came to us stating the DRC is not saying everything about eh Negilahn Creatures
(04/24 03:08:44) Montgomery: Oh. Confidential source. I have a bunch of those. I have evidence that Cate is really Sharper's daughter. Now. Prove I'm wrong. I'll wait.
(04/24 03:09:10) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Give us your evidence, Monty. We've presented ours.
(04/24 03:09:25) Montgomery: Not to me.
(04/24 03:09:37) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Because your mind is closed.
(04/24 03:09:57) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Your mind is almost as closed as the DRC's mouth.
(04/24 03:09:58) Montgomery: My mind is open to any evidence you have. I have asked for it repeatedly.
(04/24 03:10:23) Ethan Hunt: And we have told you repeatedly that their silence is all the evidence necessary.
(04/24 03:10:29) Prof. Matt Ovesen: We are not going to convince you, Monty, so you might as well go do something else.
(04/24 03:11:36) Sydney Austin: I have facts and logs and records all can be proved down the rode if need be
(04/24 03:11:52) Sydney Austin: So get off my butt
(04/24 03:12:01) Sydney Austin: And let the protest continue
(04/24 03:12:22) Prof. Matt Ovesen: You'll never understand, Monty.
(04/24 03:12:35) sil_oh_wet: If you dont believe without proof - proof wont make you believe either
(04/24 03:12:47) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Because you don't want to understand.
(04/24 03:13:10) Montgomery: My dear Professor. It's not a question of understanding. You keep pushing opinions as "evidence." I'm not buying. Show me the money.
(04/24 03:13:33) Prof. Matt Ovesen: Here's a quarter Monty. Happy?
(04/24 03:13:34) Sydney Austin: A lot of people are here, they all believe the drc has info they are hidng from us they know, they feel it, and they smell it!!!!!!
(04/24 03:13:45) Prof. Matt Ovesen flips a quarter to Montgomery.

Sydney VS Cate

Well, it ain't an ADM Meeting or a Raid-on-Sydney, but its an all-out debate between Ethan hunt, Sydney Austin, and Cate "Lexie" Alexander.

Basically, she told us Sharper's coming back from the surface, most likely with a report and more entries in his public Journal. Plsu, she told us that they did not place the Bahro Stone to Descent. So, it was either Watson himself or the Bahro.

I'd personally prefer Watson, cause its about time he starts showing his rumpus, cause all we got is a hologram so far.

The debate continued into The Meeting Place Bevin and Anti-DRC Movement's Bevin, and I got a full log of the second one, but she Relto'd out as soon as I stepped in on the first one. So, that's the basics of all events I know about today, haven't checked the Cavern Today, so I dunno.

"I'm not sure you can protect people from throwing themselves off of cliffs." - Kolian, referring to Sydney saying that the Ages were too dangerous and people could fall and die easily, such as Descent.

Descent of the Painful Fallings

No idea what that means.

Well, Descent was released today, and the spiral down is murder, sometimes literally. I have no clue if anyone's made it down yet, I only checked it out for a little bit, but Watson's been in the chamber on the top.
Off the radar, I dunno, but it seems he's about, or was, he left his Journal, and I dunno how far he'd plan to stray from it.
I thought at first the spiral led into nowhere, hence "Descent," but when I fell and hit several pillars and ledges painfully, and finally managed to flip out my Relto Book and panic-link, it turns out there's a little palace-sort thign down there.

I'm gonna try tomorrow, though.

Didn't get to spend much time down there, but I got into my Descent Phot Album, though I haven't actually started it yet, the phots are just on file. There's a barred door to the corridor, an unoperational KI Dispenser, and an empty Nexus Pillar. Whoo.
Spent alittle time in shrimpy's Relto, and some in Uo earlier, no SWN today, vid din't show up and the Descent was too much of a distraction.

Nothing much else to say, so AaAaAay!

"Hello down there." - Crystal, when I walked around the first stone spiral to the ledge below her.

Kadish or Camahn?

Ah, not a super bunch to say or anything, there was another Anti-DRC Movement Meeting yesterday, which was Monday, so no big SWN finale. Which I missed last week, by the way.
Nick DID show up about an hour before, I came in at the end, ofcourse, and scared him off, whoo.

There was an annoying guy who stole my "hypnotic purple hair" schtick, plus he was rude, among many things. Dunno who he was, didn't recognize, I think he was using a megaphone from the Classroom rooftop or the Hood Balcony.

Ah, and today there was an interesting bit from Dakro's Kadish, we started talking about whether the skeleton was Kadish or the last person who Kadish murdered (Either Camahn or Carahn, not fluent in D'ni.) or his own.
It was his age and his vault, so I dunno. Plus Dakro, Rivenorth, and tuxarc locked me out of the Vault and I had to figure out the puzzle on the panel all over again.

I locked them out eventually anyway.

BUT, because of that, they back-tracked to Dakro's Relto and used his Future Vault link since the Book in the Vault took them to individual Ages.
But it turns out that, since we could message to eachother on Age players and the KI rgeistered us in the same place.

So the Vault and Future Vault are in DIFFERENT parts of Kadish Tolesa!

"Argh, I tried to turn on the TV with the phone!" - Dakro, over the Neighbour Channel, a bit before the ADM Meeting

Tetsonot Terror

Well, Tetsonot's out, and its not anything like I thought it'd be. It's a creepy Pod where it takes forever to find the light switch, and there's just flickering red emergency lights.

And that's BEFORE you find the light switch.

Then there's just a whole bunch of flashing red emergency lights on in the entire Pod, and you find out there's an ankle-deep pool of murky water thats glowing an eerie red. The lights just keep on flashing too, I got a few pictures for my album, and screwed outta there.
I mean, I had to get Calu to help me find the light switch, and it even took him awhile. Than said the best way was climbing on top of the Nexus Book Pillar and jumping forward, but that was very hard with only three or four, dim, flashing lights above me.

Depressing and morbid, 'nuff said. I even wrote a quick KI thingy about it, put it on the Imager, yu can see it below.

And no, even though the DRC put it in the Museum two days ago, i am not late, just haven't been able to get on much, and I had an interesting conversation with a galadriel, basically warning us about terrorists who were jealous of the spoilers on the UO Forums.

She's the one with the missiles and phaser.

Zero Dinero

Yeah, I don't know what Zero Dinero means either.

But Laxman says that the final few markers showed up all on their own, so now we can get into the Cathedral and calibrate the Great Zero. It's about bloody time, I think.
So, I finished up my red marker set, and I'm in the race, got to my fifth mission so far, I missed out last night because of a surprise visit to the surface.

And I had trouble linking back down, dunno why.

I actually don't have much to say, besides that I did finish up my Great Zero photo album, though there's another spot left for when the Rezeero is all calibrated.

Let the games begin!

Too Many To Name

Well, I've been really lazy on updating this and everything. Well, first, there was vid's Great Portal Party where we went from Pod to Pod, Negilahn, Dereno, and Payiferen, just to wait for the portal.
If anyone ever went in, we'd all agreed to meet back at Uru Obsession's Bevin anyway.

Plus, there was the Kadish Dance Party, which was fun, if rather small, I missed last years, but I know that it had been on the Light Puzzle, and they had light-switchers. This year's was on the Tile Puzzle, and vid was supposed to switch the light, but I ended up doing it a bit, and I take a very melancholy video of it all, plus there's a special spot in the Photo Album, ofcourse. Also, just so the future generations remember, it was hosted by John Pogue.

Let's see..

Ah, right, just yesterday there was Spoken Word Night #48 and the Anti-DRC Movement, yes, on the same night!
The ADM was a total bore, though, and we ended up raiding the stage by runing up and practicing the new dance. But, if anything, I can atleast admire the fact that they kept on talking, if pausing, after we did that.

And today, as we speak, even, Overdrive is having a little talk with Chloe, one of the heads of the ADM, so, see ya later!

Yif and Yap

Payiferen is out, whoooo! Or I like to call it "Yif," you know, cause its Payiferen? C'mon, we have Neg and Reno, why not Yif? You know you love it too, foo on you!
It actually came out yesterday, and I did know yesterday, I just went down for a few minutes last night to check it out since I was so tired. But what WAS awesome is we have a new dance, which will probably be in my album sometime soon. I'm just now going down to snapshot everything and all.
The dance is really cool, and I'm gonna try to bring a CD with "I Don't Wanna Be a Chicken" on it, cause honestly, that's what it reminds me of SO much?

If you've seen it, it really is cool though, and the way everyone's doing it, you stick your tongue out every once in awhile, though I haven't got the hang of when yet. Just going about, oh well, this was just a quick little post to make up for yesterday before I go on my Payiferen phot expedition!

Harohs!

Spoken Word Night #47

Well, Spoken Word Night was great. The main event was "Round Robin" as vid called it, I've never called it that, and right before I was gonna say TWADNR finala called it something else. "Pass it around," or something, I honestly can't remember.
TWADNR was Predatory Instincts, I've decided it'll be six parts, with Predatory Instincts and Return of Frankenlax. I also kinda regret, cause I was thinking about it, all the puking and under-excretions was a bit immature and digusting. I think the parody of Rils talking about Nick puking took me down that path.

There was also a topic thats actually has been there for a while, or atleast has been well posted-upon, about the Guide of Guardians which, doesn't sound like much at first. But they're an almost exact copy of the Guild of Maintainers, INCLUDING the uniform.
Plus there are a bunch of other posts and stuff that I've read or not read but are too lazy to include very single thing here.

Plus, somebody played vort's music from his videos all the time, and affirmative is funny!

"So, everyone was eating jelly beans and they jumped into the lake after the flaming beachball?" - Thend (I think.), remarking about Bunny's turn on the Round Robin

Maintaining Wierdiosity

Well, today was pretty uneventful, but I'm bored, so..

Well, I finished my Maintainer's Eder Gira, still need to add the rest of the Maintainers to his Buddy List. And they're thinking of renaming the Guide of Maintainers to Maintainer's Auxilliary or something like that for official DRC reasons.
Visited with shrimpy and Justin briefly after doing Gira, did a boring report and Image about a bug at the top of the Gira waterfall where it glows when you're at the edge.

It's kinda cool, actually..

Still haven't got a Ki Image for Monty to crop out at the Group Phto, might wanna hurry up for that. And I still feel awkward trouncing around ANY Bevin as a Maintainer.
But oh well, I've gotta head up for the night, mrrm.

April Fools and Maintainer Dudes

esterday was April Fools, and Cavern Today pulled a nice joke about Jack Bauer coming down to the Cavern to stop a terrorist Kadish Tolesa..

Veeeeeeeeery interesting..

I played Marco Polo in Eder Gira, and Hide n' Seek in Gahreesen with shrimpy, ian, Jeffrey Lewis, and Valdez. And I noticed my Nexus is starting to register all Gahreesens as Garrison, which is wierd.
But, yesterday I applied for the Guide of Maintainers, the modern one, anyway. They had Kadish, Upper City, and Lower City left. But I wasn't picky.
And Skellington might've got Kadish, can't remember.

Anyway, today, I got approved, haven't got assigned an Age yet, but I'm (Pretty sure it's unoffically? Montgomery's working on approving it with D'net.) a Maintainer!
Black hardhat, black leather jacket, black jeans, and blah, a bit depressing. But it's only until the DRC releases the Maintainer Suits.

Oh well, that's it.

100th Day in the Uru

It's the 100th Day since the Cavern was opened to public exploration! WHOO!

The Psion is throwing a party on the 125th day, right after the D'ni New Year. WHich I am greatly anticipating, music and all, which is VERY hard to recieve down in the Cavern, but they do it all the time at sil's (Mainly on Mondays. o.0)

Though, this all technically happened yesterday.

I just took a bit of a break.
But also, I wasn't actually there, or I didn't hear Cate stop by in the City to drop off the Map of the Pod Age.
Neither when Rils broke the new news. Since I took a little break yesterday, and I somehow managed to miss so bloody much. But then again, that's what the Cavern Today is for. But he said that Nick White told him ResEngs had found mutilated bodies in the same fashion as those in Negilahn.
The predator has, simply put, moved on.

Nobody knows whether or not this'll be a threat to the wildlife on Dereno like it was in negilahn, since it seems such an extreme change to go from humid to freezing. But Rils, Nick, Doug, or the rest haven't said anything else, so this is really all we have.
Plus, it turns out that all the Pods are in the same Age, as indicated by the Pod Age Map pic, it's actually pretty cool.
My D'ni is a bit rusty, but oh well, I'll have to do, since there is a great translator on the Cavern Today, so..

The Psion goes into labor. - The Psion, in response to Kal when announcing the party

Spoken Word Night #46

SWN46 was fun, I got a pic here, if its important.

I read the new Wacky Adventures of Doug, Nick, and Rils, which I'm glad, cause it seemed everybody liked it. Unless they wanted to make me feel good. I hope so, anywho. I'm about to head off, so I'm hurrying up and posting this.
The main event is a Charlie the Unicorn Myst-isized Parody.

Which is actually going on now, so I'm sending this via KI, so, eh.
The only thing I ever catch of Moietay's stories are "I'M TAY!" which is her catchline, so I guess that works too. We haven't yet gotten Thend to dance.
And I fear he may make a KI Toon of Wheely doing the monkey now.. Hmm..

Well, that's it, so, see ya!

Texts and Arcadians

Well, recently Nick White released a text to Thend concerning Yahvo, that, under a D'ni Oath, I have promised not to repeat anywhere outside the Cavern, Which is just what Avador did, but that's a totally different story.
Nick was in sil_oh_wet's Bevin today, and spent an extensive amount of time in a Private Room with Avador, which I now know was probably scolding him about the text thing. I think it was on the forums, I'm not sure, I haven't gone to check it out.

He talked about Negilahn alittle bit, we reaffirmed he was okay, and as soon as I asked him about what Sharper may've had plans for specifically, he linked out. And I found out shortly after he was on a date with a Sydney Austin to Eder Gira.

Never heard of her, but oh well.

Arcadian's a good kid, haven't talked to him since yesterday, but I need to get his KI Number, that's all for today though. So, Xavius out.

"Bites are okay, hugs, not so much." - Nick, in response to Granelda.

Rils Reveals

Rils was in Uru Obsession's Bevin today talking to everyone about the Expedition on the bridge. He seems to have recovered well, I'm wondering if I was the only one who thought he might be uncomfortable talking about the Reepah.
But he seemed high and enthusiastic about it, so I didn't say nothing. He's sorta up there in fame with Wheely now (Engberg's Daughter), not as a 14 year-old girl, but as like, an associate of the DRC and such.

Basically, he didn't know too much of anything new. Though he said he asked if there were any old Journals about the Negilahn Predator, and there actually were. So it seems this thing may've just recently got out of hand.
Then again, the D'ni died out just 200 years ago, but that's plenty of time for such a thing to occur. And I've heard Sutherland actually met a D'ni a year or so back. Plus there's Chad.Shaw, but nobody's too sure about him. Even now.

I'm trying to find Calumon in Gahreesen's Second Building now. And the picture he sent me via KI didn't take me anywhere. So, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to leave him behind.
I was forced to link to the surface in Arcadian's Eder Gira, too. And even later, I still couldn't find his wooden fish cages. He'll need them to get the fireflies around the waterfall without getting wet or jumping too much.
I'm gonna keep all my Age Invites in my Nexus for now, though it s full of every age Calumon currently has, oh well. (If I ever need to get rid of one, it'll be Arcadian's. Cause, honestly, I'm not what you would call a friend of his. yet, atleast.)

So, that's all for today. Tally hoooooooooooooooo!!

Bahro Ballistic

Well, the Bahro are still about. We have confirmed sightings from every Bevin that they appeared and placed a Bahro Stone to the Hood's Instance of Ae'Gura.
Uru Obsession's just one of the hundreds of them, I'd imagine. The Bahro aren't hiding anymore, they no longew wish to not be seen. They're becoming active and showing us that they're there, reminding us.
We're in UO's City right now, talking about everything that's happened since Rils' expedition. Which is now drifting to the afterside of the conversation now, since the Bahro showing themselves is beginning to take the main stage.

I have yet to see one yet, but have got a couple pictures, and came in an hour after today's appeared. Don't know if there'll be more, but there hasn't been yet, so, oh well.
It's Friday, so that's good, end of the week and such, I can spend more time rummaging around the Cavern.

The theory is they're giving us the City Bahro Stones because something's gonna happen to the Main City, maybe the guy who rought whatever into Negilahn is gonna mess up the Main City, or its becoming unstable and they're warning us.
Some people said the Bahro were crying and wailing, personally, I think that's the best and most reasonable theory so far. Whether the way it's gonna go down differs.

I guess that's all for today, so, eh.

If it matters, Calumon went part invisible, Sohvokhbahr even, maybe. While we're in the City, I'm gonna try to rally them into the Bar, so, see ya'!

Beginnings, Bahro, and Badness

I suppose this is the perfect time to start up this blog, with all the excitement from Rils' expedition with Sharper and Nick.
We all freaked out when the KI quit registering them simultaneously, we were afraid that the mysterious Predator would've got them. But Rils returned later and spent a great deal of time in his Relto after giving interviews for the Cavern Today and such.

But later Rils told us that they found a carcass of a Reepah, one of the things on the Animal Sheet, the Gorilla, as Rils put it. I feel slightly guilty about putting my Wacky Adventures of Doug, Nick, and Rils on Spoken Word Night now.
There have also been sightings of Bahro infront of the Hoods with Bahro Stones now, I can't find the picture in The Cavern Today that was most definetely there before.
And just now, I've heard that Justin claims to have seen a Bahro in his Nexus, despite the fact he has no pictures, was alone, and was very unlikely.

Minkata has been revealed, that huge, vast Age Nick has mentioned before. It's supposedly big, scarred and deserty. And people are theorizing about it being some sort of weapons-testing ground for the D'ni.
But I can't much imagine nucleur weapons that can cause huge craters being created created by the D'ni. Books, KI's, and Imagers, maybe, A-Bombs, no.

On theories, people are going on about outside forces affecting Negilahn. Such as projectiles destroying the Reepah, since Rils described it as "torn apart," I can only imagine the gruesomnity (Is that a word?).
There's also the possibility of rewriting the Age, or linking in a foreign being. Cause the Reepah might not be as big as an Urwin, but its supposed to be bigger than a person. According to the Animal Sheet, anywho.
Hunter or predator, I don't know. But we've all got theories, and only time will tell.

Haven't heard from Sharper since the incident, but both Rils and Nick (After he recooparated..) have made appearances to the public.

"Holy crap, there's a lot of people here!" - An unsuspecting Rils linking into sil_oh_wet's Bevin
